Our Story

Hi, I’m Cristobal Figueroa, the founder of Family Squad. Like many parents, I saw how easy it is to get caught up in daily responsibilities, leaving little time for deep, heartfelt connections with loved ones. I wanted to create something that would help families Family Squad

My Why

I’m Cristobal, a Chilean entrepreneur based in Melbourne, Australia. Travelling the world opened my eyes to moments of inspiration—what some call eureka moments.

My grandfather, my biggest inspiration, was an architect with a heart for social change. He dedicated his life to building social housing, not just to provide shelter, but to give people dignity, stability, and a chance to thrive. He believed that when families have a safe home, they build stronger relationships, support one another, and create a ripple effect that strengthens entire communities. His unwavering commitment to helping others shaped my deep belief in the power of connection and the importance of family bonds.

My own eureka moment came in Berlin’s Mauerpark, watching a man in a tutu sing Let It Go. The crowd went wild, judging him only by his talent—not by his looks. It hit me: If the world had more of these moments, it would be a better place.

Blending my heritage, experiences, and passion, I created Family Squad—a game designed to bring families closer, spark conversations, and nurture emotional connections. Seeing families light up with joy reminds me that Family Squad, and this is just the beginning of a bigger movement to empower future generations.
